I am an
environmental and development economist on the faculty at Wellesley College,
which I joined in July 2011. I am also currently a research fellow at the Women
and Public Policy Program at Harvard University.
I received my Ph.D. in May 2009 from the Department of Economics at
Yale University, where I worked under the supervision of Mark Rosenzweig, Chris
Udry and Mushfiq Mobarak.
My research focuses primarily on the environmental challenges facing decision makers in developed and developing countries. In particular, I am interested in understanding the economic causes of and responses to water scarcity.
